According to English daily The Guardian and football website Goal.com, Arsenal are said to be interest in Besiktas Argentine international midfielder Matias Delgado. The young Argentian, who has just over one year left on his contract with Besiktas, could be available in the summer market for around £5 million. Premier League teams Middlesbrough and Everton and Spanish clubs Valencia and Villarreal are also said to be interested in Delgado. However, Delgado would prefer a move to a club that plays in the Champions League, giving Arsenal an advantage.
