Cool pics. Thanks!!
I was watching the game on a german (

) sports channel and absolutely couldn't believe it when they stopped the transmission after 90 minutes in order to show highlights of the second Bundesliga...

Ended up listening to BBC Radio and was real sad that the Reds lost... We'll get 'em next time, though!
Take care

Question for Snorky

Yo Snorky. I think I am going to go see Arsenal vs. Liverpool on May 7. (I have some airline miles to lose, so I better spend them on something worthwhile

). From your experience, wow hard is it to get tix for a game like that? Do I need to get 'em around now so that I don't run the risk of finding it sold out??? (Or worse, is a clash like that sold out already?) Your help is appreciated.

Arsenal v Liverpool tickets
Save your money, they will be like gold dust. I would not recommend you come over without having a ticket.

Thanks for the quick feedback! Well, as I am not spending much on the airline tickets - am redeeming the miles - I wouldn't mind spending a bit more than usual on the tickets. Unless... How much money are we talking about for a decent "location"??

London = RIP OFF CITY
Honestly, if you wanted to redeem some miles and see a Liverpool game, try coming to Anfield for a lesser game when the tickets would be easier to get.
The tickets (depending on if there is still something on the result of the match) could be at least £200, and even then those tickets could be forged.

Whoa...

OK, I love 'pool and I'd even spend that much. Especially since I don't get the chance very often. By the way, regarding your suggestion, I was thinking about coming to Anfield. Flying on Swiss I'd have to come in either through Manchester (...) or Birmingham. I'll think about it. Thanks for your help.

Liverpool John Lennon airport fly to Basel now, that is why I was hoping to fly over for a game myself.
Arsenal's ground only holds 38,000 and there would be about 100,000 wanting tickets

Yeah, I know about the possibility to fly to Liverpool from Basel. But I live an hour and a half from Basel and Zurich airport is closer for me. Plus - this time around - I am going to fly SWISS in order not to lose those miles.

Manchester Airport would be better than Birmingham.
