Die wichtigste Unterstützung erhält die Mannschaft von den heimischen Fans, die Spieltag für Spieltag mitfiebern. Mit ca. 19.000 Zuschauern pro Spiel ist Vitória, nach dem FC Porto, Benfica und Sporting, die Mannschaft in Portugal, die am meisten Fans ins Stadion zieht. Mit ca. 30.000 hat Vitória nach den eben genannten Teams am meisten Vereinsmitglieder. Mit der Teilnahme im europäischen Wettbewerb, wurden neue Dauerkarten zu neuen Konditionen geschaffen. Die bekanntesten Fangruppen des Vereins sind die White Angels und die Ultras Insane Guys.
