Jose Blesa verabschiedet sich auf Instagram und schreibt einen interessanten Teil zu Menendez:
Today I say goodbye to my house, to the club that I will always carry in my heart
I am leaving with gratitude but also with regret for leaving the club and the city that has made me so happy.
I sincerely wish you all the success and return this season to live that beautiful feeling that is lifting a title with all of you fans.
I also want to thank David and Daniel for the opportunity, trust and wanting to continue counting on me in this new season.
But I know I will never regret not trying and not pursuing my dreams.
As I said in front of all my fellow staff members, this has been the happiest season l've ever been in a club.
I am leaving my great friend and the best professional I have ever worked with in charge so everything will go very well @carlos_menendez_garcia
Thank you @fcbasel1893 I will carry you with me for the rest of my life.

Wow, nicht zu früh freuen. Aber sieht gut aus, dass aus meiner Sicht der wichtigste Mann aus dem Staff bleiben wird.

Jose Blesa finde ich noch wichtiger. Ernährung ist so wichtig beim Fussball. Er hat mit Ronaldo gearbeitet. Sehr schade!!!!

Das ist doch überbewertet und relativ simpel ohne Ernährungs-Coach zu gestalten.
Ich werde heute Abend eine leckere Pizza ProsciuttoFunghi verzehren, mit etwas penne arrabiata als Vorspeise und esse danach einfach noch einen Apfel damit es gesund ist...
e voilà..

Vom Gespräch mit Menendez her habe ich das Gefühl, dass er selbst Blesa zumindest teilweise ersetzen kann, weil sein Know-how doch in eine sehr ähnliche Richtung geht. Er hat ja auch sehr eng mit Blesa gearbeitet.

Natürlich dürfte er bei Chelsea mehr verdienen, aber ich gehe nicht davon aus, dass die Löhne derart extrem auseinander gehen, wie bei Spielern.
Zudem hat er nun bewiesen, dass ihm und seiner Familie andere Werte offensichtlich wichtiger sind.
