Middlesbrough is south of Newcastle and about 40 miles away. I dont know kilometres ( I am English ). Takes about an hour driving or on the train.

schade, dass hartlepool und darlington in der ersten aprilwoche auswärtsspiele bestreiten - hätte ein guter groundhoppingausflug als ergänzung gegeben!

Middlesbrough are very hot and cold, they can beat teams like Manchester United (4-0) and Chelsea (3-0) then lose to Aston Villa (0-4) and even get beat (7-0) at Arsenal.

It is very hard to predict how Middlesbrough will play. You will have to watch Yakubu upfront, he is an excellent player.

If Basel play well they should progress. If I wear the magic cap they will progress

First I feel proud of Robbie "The God's" premium score at home again last game vs. Fulham

Then another question: what about the Hool potential of Boro lads?
Are they more dangerous than the Geordies? What do You know about them?

Middlesbrough hate being called Geordies. They are from North Yorkshire.

Middlesbrough can be as rough or as friendly as any city in the world. You will be guests in Middlesbrough so if you act accordingly I am sure there will be no problem as I know there will be no problem in Basel.

The hooligan element is not really a problem in Middlesbrough although they do have some hard men up there that you will not want to make angry.
