So, you see. They are only the last two in a row of victims. We heard the same slogans from Celtic fans, Juve fans, Deportivo fans, Spartak fans.. a.s.o. and they all left Basel with the head between the legs. ( ok we drew with Zagreb when playing away. same with ManU and Schalke)
You might win, and I'd never dare to say you can't. But then you'd be a astonishingly rare exception amongst a very few other guests.
And that's exactly what the Hamburgers don't realize. They underestimate swiss football more than anybody else on this continent.

But back to the thread:
I remember the game againts Hearts of Midlothian: eveyone said, that one would be the easiest game... an we lost...
But our team got some more experince, now they know how to get further. And a lot supporters know it, too. Its just a pity that there are a lot of those guys talking about "norvegian football", which is their only argument why Brann should lose the game...
I'm looking forward to that game, i know it will be a tough fight (no football-beauty...) and I really hope, that we will qualify for the next round.
We'll beat Brann, never mind how hard it will be

Below, please find some additional facts for your bets:
• Basel have played three games against Norwegian opposition, including those meetings with Brann. A 4-3 win against Tromsø IL in the 2005/06 UEFA Cup group stage means they have won both of their home games against Norwegian sides.
• Including their games against Basel, Brann have played four games against Swiss sides, losing both of their previous matches in Switzerland, while winning and drawing one apiece at home.
• Basel beat Stade Rennais FC 1-0 in their opening game and then drew 0-0 at NK Dinamo Zagreb. They are unbeaten at home in their last 12 European ties.
• Brann lost 1-0 at home against Hamburger SV in their opening game, then drew 1-1 at Rennes and beat Dinamo 2-1 at home. They are unbeaten in their last six European away games, winning four and drawing two.
• Brann defender Hassan El-Fakiri is serving the second game of a two-match ban for a red card picked up in the draw against Rennes.

Then, a 0-0 draw would be the minimum solution with maximum effect for both of us. We wouldn't mind either....
(But I'd prefer the following: For us it would be nice to win 1-0 tomorrow and see Hamburg losing their match. Then, a draw in Hamburg would make us a group winner. But you were out, which I'd regret personally, as we we have no averseness to Norvegians)

Dachte eher, dass Du für diesen Preis vorgeschlagen wirst, Nobel lässt grüssen... Oerjan hat wohl leider weniger gute Erinnerungen an Basel, Danke Didi Andrey.

Bei den Norwegern fehlen Captain Martin Andresen sowie der schottische Stürmer Robert Winters, Verteidiger Kristjan Sigurdsson fraglich, und Eirik Bakke sowie Hassan El Fakiri gesperrt, Beim FCB soll erst am Spieltag soll entschieden werden, ob Scott Chipperfield (verletzt) und Marco Streller (krank) wieder einsatzfähig sind. bligg)

Da sieht man, wie wichtig die richtige Trainingsdosis für Carignano ist, damit er baldmöglichst mittun kann. Es geht mit überhaupt nicht darum, wieviele Einsatzminuten er bekommt und vieviele Tore er daraus macht, sondern dass er mal bereit ist, denn wir werden auch im Frühling Absenzen haben.

Nix lustig. Ich will Emociones, Turbulenzen, Dramatik, ähnliche Torfolge wie gegen Tromsö, vor allem letztes Goal. Glaube allerdings auch, dass Costanzo drei sicher geglaubte Gegentore durch Reflexe auf der Linie zunichte macht, einmal lenkt er den Ball an Aussenpfosten, einmal pariert er Schuss aus naächster Nähe plus Nachschuss, und ein Penalty.
Majschter dankt es ihm mit Siegtreffer auf Penalty in Min 93.

und selbstverständlich wird die treue Gastgeberin keine Mühe scheuen, die Kaffi fettig zu rühren. Auf jetzt, zem zwaitletschte Mol im Käller schwelge.
Vielleicht werden sich noch ein paar Nordländer dorthin verirren, die sollen ja zu dieser Jahreszeit besonders reiselustig sein.
