Hamburg spielt in diesem Jahr noch am 8.12. gegen Cottbus und am 15.12. gegen den KSC. Die schlagen sie beide mit der B-Elf.

einen vorteil ergibt sich daraus, dass die norweger in basel punkten müssen. somit können sie nicht einfach nur hinten reinstehen (was dem fcb in jüngster vergangenheit immer wieder mühe bereitet hat).

ein sieg ist aber pflicht, sonst wird das eis sehr dünn in dieser gruppe. bei einem sieg gegen die norweger, liegt sogar noch ein tabellensieg drin. ein sieg in hamburg wäre dann nicht so unmöglich, wie das aus heutiger sicht vielleicht erscheint.

die effizienz wird wieder einmal entscheidend sein und ich hoffe, pipi ist bis spätestens am mittwoch wieder fit! (het dr schisser )

Tja, nur lässt die Spielweise des FCB zuhause international wenig Raum für Konter zu, hat man schon gegen Rennes gesehen, Zagreb war ein ganz anderes Pflaster. Taktisch und technisch sollten wir überlegen sein, darum: Kontrollierte Offensive, sukzessive den Druck erhöhen, Zweikämpfe annehmen (von der Athletik her sind wir auch mit den Wikinger dabei), Geduld zeigen und der Sieg wird unser sein.

Analog dem Tipspiel, sehr optimistisches 3:1!

There are allot of reasons why its taken 42 years, financial issues for the most part, but after some banks has forgiven tens of millionsu20AC in debt, and new sponsors have given tens of millions u20AC to get new players, we have finally started dominating again, cup winners 2004 and 3rd place. 2006 2 place, 2007 1 place.

Actually we thought Basel was the only team we would be able to beat, since its the only team with comperable economy.

Good! its annoying to see all the newspapers etc write Brann Bergen etc UEFA has finally fixed it on its pages aswell!

I dont think we plan to lose against you! We hope to beat every team we play agsinst, offcourse. only team that has proven too hard for us this far is HSV who beat us 0-1. But we will see soon! only 2 days left!

and i can say we have the upmost respect for you guys, you are a relativly big name from a small country. Respect.

rechnen scheint nicht deine stärke zu sein... aber 35k - 17k = zuschauerzahl kannste vergessen bei dem komischen ticketingsystem vom fcb...

gegen rennes hatte es noch ca. 19'000 tickets im verkauf am matchtag, gegen brann noch 17'000...

d.h. es werden mind 2'000 mehr sein als gegen rennes, optimistisch gesehen ca. 12-13'000...

Je nach Sturm, Regen und Kälte werden es zwischen 12'000 bis max. 15'000 Zuschauer haben.

In anbetracht, dass der FCB eigentlich in diesem Spiel alles vorentscheiden kann, sollten doch viel mehr kommen...denn ein Sieg und wir wären im 16tel Final.

I just remember a big, fat, kilted and drunk Celt on our nice Barfüsserplatz (where your surely have to drink some beer before the game ) who asked me: "Ye think ye'll beat us?". I couldn't really imagine, but i told him "Yes". We beat the Celts 2:0...

I think, Brann has a good run at the moment, but just by comparing your finances with ours, you won't win a jack-in-the-box... Its not our money playing, its our players. An behind the players you'll find the supporters: won't be more than 12'000 on wendnesday, but they will be as loud as ever

This is true, money isnt everything, Rosenborg who came in as number 5 in our league ( we came in first offcourse ) beat Valencia two times and a draw with chelsea (lost on return). The last few weeks.

Even tho those teams have allot bigger economies then Rosenborgs.

Dont get me wrong, i sure hope your coaches feel the same way, as all the other teams in the cup as underestimated us, except HSV who's coach openly said he was afraid of Brann, and beat us 0-1.


Thorstein Helstad (Best player in the league 2007, scored 22 goals in the league) and Azar Karadas ( former Benfica ) will player strikers. So i hope there will be allot of goals from our part
You should also take notice to our number 13, Erik Huseklepp, who was wanted by manchester city, Hamburger SV and some other teams, but ended up extending his contract for another 3 years with Brann, seeing as we are going to try out for Champions League next year.

My guess is Basel - Brann 2-4!

Don't get ME wrong, but I never would even mention a success of another swiss team in this forum. I wonder why you mention Rosenborg. I think, you're supposed to hate them...

Be assured: we are not like other teams in this group, we would never underestimate another team (well, maybe just in our national cup-competition, of course). Our Coach, Christian Gross, is like any other swiss: he is a master of understatement. So he will surely name SK Brann the favourite in this game.

I hate Rosenborg, but im still impressed with what they have achieved.

I think this will be a very intresting match, seeing as its a fight for survival for both of us.
